Using 17.10 My Elantech mousepad on Gigabyte laptop is nearly unusable. Over sensitive. Move and it suddenly decides I tapped and start selecting text, or it clicks when I did not tap. Trying to find where to configure the sensitivity reveals lots of dead programs (gpointing-device-settings, Synaptiks) etc. Nowhere a simple answer on what config file to edit and what the parameters do.
