And then my external monitor, who worked well before on 20.04 LTS, was never
able to connect.
Everytime I try to connect it, set Joint Displays and press apply on the

On a machine with Ubuntu 13.10 and an NVIDIA GT 640 graphics card, I had
one monitor connected to the DVI-I port, and when I connected another
monitor, to the DP port, kworker started running at 100%, and it still
does after I unplugged the DP monitor. While I had the two

I ran into this bug today whilst compiling kernel 2.6.32.43 to use as
DomU for Xen.
Background: installed Ubuntu 11.04 on laptop, first time login, prompted
with Unity not available due to hardware..., once connected to the
net, an Nvidia update came up, installed and Unity worked, the update
HP TX2690 touchscreen, not working.
