Public bug reported: Right after upgrading to 12.04, the display manager failed to start. This turned out to be due to a crash of /usr/bin/X. I've downloaded the latest driver from AMD's website amd-driver-installer-12-4-x86.x86_64.run for hardware ATI mobility Radeon HD 4500. I deleted all nvi
