I just did a clean install of Lucid on the u810 device, No longer having
any issue with the gnome-panel moving. Setting to fix released, Thanks
for following up!

[KARMIC] Cycling through resolutions c
After updating to Karmic Beta I was able to take a picture using cheese
without any issue, not sure it was the same app used in the Check box
testing done in Atlanta, during Atlanta Linux Fest. Just in case I
listed the application version as well.
