Compiz broken on Karmic with NVIDIA driver and CPU without PAT support
I keep getting an error when dkms tries to apply the patch. The weird
thing is that I tried this in Ubuntu and it worked fine and now I'm just
trying it in Kubuntu. The error:

applying patch rt_preempt_31.patch...patching file
@Ernst: Thanks, but I managed to figure out with some (ok most ;) help
from #ubuntu+1 . The patching process still doesn't work, so I just
inserted the two small pieces of code manually.

mode.
