Any lucid kernel update will supersed it. Also updates without
containing this fix. So be careful!

As I mentioned in post 102 i've build a default lucid kernel 2.6.32-22.33 with
applied patches of Daniel Vetter (v8).
This will be found now here: https://launchpad.net/~dnjl/+archive/kernel
On my machines this works well for weeks without the need to install any more
experimental stuff like drm-

I'm trying to backport Daniel Vetters patches
(http://cgit.freedesktop.org/~danvet/drm/log/?h=stuff/i8xx_cache_coherency_for_oga)
to current lucids kernel (2.6.32-21.32). It seems to be not too complex
as lucids kernel has applied drm of kernel 2.6.33.

On my system, a Dell X300 with 82852/855GM, this release produces many more
lockups. Now it's really really unstable.
Last version (2:2.9.1-3ubuntu1) also lockups sometimes, but not so many times.
