This bug affects me as well. Sometimes moving the pointer gently to the
right side of my primary display restores the pointer completely, and
sometimes it restores it to a slight scrambled version.

In AMD64, after installing the new fglrx-modaliases, Jockey still
doesn't list fglrx as an option. If I manually install the fglrx
package, it does list it, but fails when I attempt to select it,
claiming that I'm holding broken packages (no broken or held packages).
