[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 444476] [NEW] Default resolution set to 800x600 on 16:10 (1280x800) laptop display

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-sis The bug is in Karmic. It seems that KMS sees this card as vesa so the only options for resolution settings are 800x600 and 640x480. Is there any way to modify KMS, workaround, something? Thanks in advance. ProblemType: Bug
