with the latest lucid as of today, i have to turn off KMS to have normal colors in VGA. In UMS, it works OK. I'm hoping the latest patches posted on the freedesktop bug, but not yet taken by ubuntu, would fix the problem in KMS mode for me. i have a RV280 [Radeon 9200 SE]. -- [R423] gamma
