After a recent update, Xorg fails to start up, and I get the following
error in journalctl when trying to boot:

This is with libgl1-mesa-dri version 12.0.6-0ubuntu0.16.04.1. Rolling
back to 11.2.0-1ubuntu2 seems to fix this problem for me (although it
seems to break some other unrelated system-dependencies)

I'm running Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 LTS.
