Seems like the bug is back.
It pops up occasionally (one error line every ~2 hours) on Linux 6.5.0-14,
6.6.0-14 and 6.8.0-20.
Appears on both Jammy: Xorg (Mate) and Mantic: Xorg/Wayland (Mate/KDE).
Default kernel cmdline.
On Xorg the graphics is fine, but on Wayland it can a bit "flickery" at

Frequently laptop returns to blamk black screen after resume from suspend.
System has Intel HD3000 (SB)
Running Raring, tested with both linux-3.8.0 (Raring) and linux-3.10.0 (Saucy).
Usually happens when waking up without external monitor, with external monitor
connected
Looks like mtrack is ignored if synaptics is available.
As workaround I remove xserver-xorg-input-all and add next to
/etc/X11/xorg.conf:

Screenshot attached, it looks perfectly normal.
But there was no actual picture on the monitor when PtrScr was pressed, only
backlight and same random color on all pixels.
Next actions bring screen to normal:

Happened to me after return from suspend.
Resulted black screen for both VT and Graphical modes until reboot.

This happens before GDM/LiveSession, even without splash.
Brightness level goes down during boot and maximum available level becomes
