By clicking directly on "install ubuntu", I could install and it booted fine. I
noticed performance issues and tried X.org session and got the display bug

Hello,
I have this too : Physical button from the touchpad is handled as a left click.
I can use 2-fingers as a workaround, but "area" mode is not working though.

Title:
Xorg freeze [drm] stuck
This bug is much worst in 16.04 than it used to be 14.04 :
Happens very often and freezes the system completely 4 times of 5 instead of
just hang display for 30 seconds.

No more issue in 15.10
May be because of setting up TearFree intel option.

Public bug reported:
Hello,
After 5-10 min of use, displays an unicolored (full) screen (light blue
after sys updates, purple before). System seems running (disk activity).
Switching to TTY displays black screen.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 15.10
Package: xorg 1:7.7+7ubuntu4
I tried adding xorg-edgers ppa and upgrade. This made things worse : Logs out
immediately after login.
So I installed 15.10 that seems to work finer, but with another random display
issue :

Frequency of reproduction has spaced. After having it 5-6 times in the
first 30min, I could use the machine without incident for almost 2
hours, and then ~2h again after this last incident. Then I shut the
machine down normally.
