In the system settings 'Brightnes and Lock' I have the screen swith set to
'never' and the screen shuts off at 10 minutes. I don't know how to fix the
problem. Before I could set it to an 'hour' then back to 'never' and re-boot
and the screen wouldn't switch off after 10
With oneiric the screen blanks out when you set the time in the 'screen
utility.' It might have been a hardware conflict with my HDMI flat
screen since the screen saver worked when the HDMI wasn't plugged in.
