Both of these scripts do the same thing, and both are installed by

/etc/X11/Xsession.d/35x11-common_xhost-local
/etc/X11/Xsession.d/60x11-common_localhost
35x11-common_xhost-local is present in debian, while
60x11-common_localhost is not. I suspect the latter sho

In addition to black / not-repainted areas on screen when I resize
xfce4-terminal, they sometimes appear when I switch between workspaces

I think I'm experiencing the same problem. With a Logitech G5 USB
mouse, xev reports events for only some of the buttons. (I'm thinking
this would explain why I am unable to map the other buttons using the
usual approaches.) I'm using Jaunty 32 bit.

I tried Karmic Alpha 6 today, and found that xev reported events for all
my mouse buttons. This is a good sign for that future release, but the
problem remains in Jaunty.

i didn't do anything special, it happens either when i start the game
"Ryzom" or randomly through the game but it does seem to happen roughly
every hour if that helps ?!

I get the sense there is a feature missing in the intel driver that
makes the quirking necessary. Is that the case?
