I have multiple terminal windows open. I can see a preview of all of
them if I click on the Terminal icon in the launcher.
If I set one of these windows to "Always on top", then clicking on the
icon does not show all the previews anymore. Removing the "Always on
top" flag fix

and red. It looks like sub-pixel antialiasing done wrong.

Here is a use case that I hope can change the status of this report from
Opinion to New/Confirmed.
The fglrx package is needed if one wants to use the AMD CodeXL tool, an
OpenGL/OpenCL development tool from AMD. The CodeXL tool can work with
"offline devices", i.e. without having an AMD GPU in the

a sane way until a more complete solution is found?
For the records, this is still a problem in precise 12.04 LTS.

On this five years old dell workstation the screen start showing some
kind of weird corrupted patterns. This corruption gets worse as time
passes by. A reboot solves it for a while.
The corruption can be seen in the Unity tooltips and in the wallpapers.

I found out that the original bug has been solved. The problem that we
are still experiencing are related to bug #361149. Once the workaround
outlined in that bug report are applied, the XPS media keys are working
again, both in GNOME and in KDE.
