Public bug reported: I have just upgraded an acer extensa 5635z from ubuntu 10.04 to 12.04. It used the same xorg.conf I had been previously successfully using Whether with my old xorg.conf, the one generated by the upgrader, or none, the xorg only finds monitor modes at 1024x768(4:3) and 800x600
