- I suspect this means there should be another package, libxcb-xinput-dev
- perhaps?
+ [Impact]
+ Allow Qt 5.12 to be compiled with full input support. This allows

That'd be a setup problem I guess. Witht he bigger screen being
duplicated to the smaller screen the sizing is off. If the screens were
not duplicated appropriate layout would happen.

Definitely a XKB issue. It applies to Kubuntu, Ubuntu, Arch and Gentoo
at the very least. Also making distro level patching very unlikely.

Also, the X server becomes completely crazzy . define crazy please.
Also, what does it do actually 'go crazy' or 'crash', that is a rather profound
difference.
Also, does memory/cpu usage change drastically when this happens?

1) dpkg.log is attached and very massive, so it is impossible to track
the package that caused this problem IMHO
2) By commenting out various parts at a time it seems like the following
code parts additionally work around
Looks more like a key mapping problem, moving bug to xserver.

Public bug reported:
This report is based on a bug hunt I did on a system maintained by
~ericbouer.
Apparently the system was setup about a week ago and after some recent
update, login was never successful and always resulted in an immediate
bounce back to KDM.
After a lot of investigation it

Moving to X11. The repeating part does not seem to be Kubuntu specific,
as per comments, plus I would find it weird to be caused by KDE.
Anyway, since it is apparently fixable via xorg.conf let's just assume
it is fixable for real in x11. The fact that some keys are not bound to

Thanks for reporting this issue.
It is however really caused by the Intel graphics driver, so I am moving the
bug over there. Please attach the output of the command
lspci -vvnn
to this report, so it is easier for the Xorg triagers to process the bug.
Thank you very much and have a nice day :)
