At this present time, I'm already using the xorg-edgers PPA, but just like Lucid archive packages, to no help. I believe you're also the PPA's maintainer. Right? It doesn't help to use radeon.agpmode=-1 Only nomodeset does, but I lose all the goods KMS brings on. I'm available to further help.
