This has started to happen to me from about a week agi. I did not have
this problem once before, now I can't ever suspend and resume properly.
Likely an update that caused it.
Ubuntu 12.40 64 bit, Lenovo T430, Intel graphics. Kernel 3.4.0 (to get
around a separate random freeze issue).

This has been fixed in Lucid, at least partially.
Now the suspend key hibernates the laptop, regardless of the setting in power
manager. I will open a new bug for that.

* I was running WinXP in Virtualbox with very heavy hard drive activity while
on battery
* As I got the "Battery critically low" message, I plugged in AC, but
apparently gpm did not recognize the plugging immediately
* So my laptop suspended (b

Pressing Suspend key turns off display instead of
Confirmed.
Workaround:
You can execute "ck-launch-session" in the second X-Server. Then sound will
work again (but you will have sound mixed from both xservers).
Since it's not clear to me where exactly the bug is, I'm further
