Dolanar - While I can understand your frustration, At the moment this bug is pure trial and error and by its human nature may appear 'programmer savvy' even unstructured, For me this is bug is associated with So many outstanding ATI HD problems. For a forum style format maybe you want to aim

Bug still appears in Beta2, on my iMac11,1 i7 - I had to do a f6, esc, (selecting nomodeset doesn't appear to change the line) then manually added the following in the boot line: i915.modeset=0 radeon.modeset=0 I then get the purple ubuntu screen with the 5 red dots and then thats all.
