Actually, I fixed mine relatively easily. In xorg.conf, instead of 'nvidia-auto-select' in modes, I changed to '1280x960 1024x768 800x600' and now it works fine. I changed the login screen to a simple one and then back and now it's all solved. Best wishes, Joel ** Changed in: nvidia-graphics-dr
