When I log into Ubuntu my screen works fine, but if I suspend my machine
and resume it or switch to a VT (e.g. Ctrl-F1) and then back to X, my
monitor then has an incorrect refresh rate and the screen is misaligned

switched on in Tools->Options->OpenOffice.org->View, then load this
presentation and try moving some of the slide items around. Also, try
picking up a slide in the left slides pane and move your mouse until you
