OK - just a comment to say that recent updates fixed my framerate
problems and I am able to be productive using my Wacom Pro and
(K)ubuntu.

ok that works for me except that. I am losing a lot of OpenGL
performance going from 3.12 to 3.13 - my Unigine test scene is ~21fps in
the former and ~4fps in the later. Short story I still can't work
without rebooting.

Ok I can confirm that the updated kernel works. However I can't use it
as I depend quite heavily on the nVidia binary drivers to get work done.

Title:
support for Intuos pro
Public bug reported:
It looks like the patches are in the linux wacom project. It would be nice to
have support for these tablets before saucy ships.
I bought one today to replace my broken wacom intuos 5.
instructions on how to build these myself would also be acceptable.
** Affects:
Hotplug was working for me when I installed precise but now I have the
same issue (some update broke things for me)- I only get the tablet if
it is plugged in when I boot. I tried with a work mates Intuos 3 and it
hotplugs just fine. One more thing I noticed though it could have been
coincidence
