Lucid beta1, up to date as of March 21st.
I was playing a movie full screened in totem. I played it from the
beginning, occasionally skipping ahead to interesting parts. I was
probably playing the video for about a half hour.
I'm experiencing this problem using the 64-bit live cd, booted from a
usb disk as of march 2 with the following video card:
02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G73 [GeForce 7600 GS]
(rev a1)
Subsystem: XFX Pine Group Inc. Device 222c
Control: I/O+ Mem+ BusMaster+
This was fixed with with recent updates in Karmic, so i'm closing it.

Ok, after reinstalling a fresh amd64 alternate karmic daily as of
18-sep-09, the video works but the splash screen does not display (just
a black screen)
