HoN crashes with ARB_vertex_buffer_object not available.
The main problem here is that fglrx doesn't want to install on a kernel newer
than 2.6.32. However we can't expect the Ubuntu devs to support other kernels
than the ones shipping with Ubuntu.
I would suggest you to file bugreports with the problems you have using fglrx
on the official
Okay, sorry, the bad X-performance was due to DRI being disabled due to some
package problems (something installed the Nvidia driver package on my system
which broke my ATI DRI). Now that I've found the source of the problem this is
gone.
As this problem is resolved I don't attach any logs

I came across this bug when trying to figure out why my video-output in
xine-lib is distorted. Talking to the Xine-guys I was told the fglrx-
driver in Karmic reports a wrong image size to the X-server (logged in
Xorg.0.log). Xine-lib uses this value to determine the size and
