I have not experienced any particular problems with Ubuntu or Ubuntu 2D
using this driver.
However, I have experienced two issues which cause a minor concern for

Hello, new Ubuntu user over here. I followed the directions as linked
by Chris, and apt-get continues to tell me the following:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
nvidia-173 : Depends: xorg-video-abi-10 but it is not installable
Recommends: nvidia-settings but it is
...and to prove how new I am, a simple sudo apt-get update solved that
problem, didn't it. Disregard.
