here is a easy way to reproduce the problem without a ltsp setup
on the first computer:
1 ) sudo vim /usr/share/gdm/gdm.schemas

4) in a console run : $ xhost +
5) on another computer: DISPLAY=:0 glx

the easiest way to reproduce the bug is using the edubuntu live and
starting
I just tested by updating compiz package from maverick-proposed and it
work.
