Lenovo W500 with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 Ubuntu 10.04 with compiz activated I can confirm the fix. Great Job Thank you. After adding/ installing the packages and rebooting I got a black screen. No login GUI appeared. Reinstalling the proprietary ATI Driver fixed that! -- [Lucid][Ubuntu
