I think I have the same problem even though I'm not using KDE but just Ubuntu 12.04, xorg-edgers PPA, and a Unity desktop. Since the 2:2.20.4+git20120820.027569bf-0ubuntu0sarvatt~precise build, my display has lots of distorted characters. For example, in a terminal window, my input is not even dis
