Looks like this bug is similiar to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/568779 I can boot with option i915.modeset=1 without problems, but I can't see plymouth animation then. -- X server crashes, screen turns black - Failed to submit batchbuffer
