Same here, even after disabling VSync setting. I see a significant slowdown in simply typing in a text box or using Eclipse vs. 10.10. Even spinners in Firefox are choppy. Oddly enough, the Unity Launcher bar scrolls in and out like butter. Xorg and compiz are also chewing up a lot of CPU cycles,
