I'm able to reliably reproduce this bug on my system. Do you still want
testing with the PPA above? According to lp, there is a later version
in the natty main repo published yesterday, which I am currently using.

I have tested lubuntu 10.10 on a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 with the
Cyberblade video hardware. Unfortunately the problem continues to
persist.
I can test with Natty if any developers are still interested in this

Well, 9.10 will still be supported for another 12 months, so feel free
to downgrade. I'm sure one of the xorg team will eventually stop by and
