and it has the most subscribers, I thought I'd attach a workaround here.

I believe I have developed a workaround
PLEASE READ ENTIRELY BEFORE EXECUTING
Open a terminal and do the following:
sudo apt-get install xserver-common=2:1.11.4-0ubuntu10 xserver-xorg-
core=2:1.11.4-0ubuntu10
% this operation downgrades xserver-common and xserver-xorg-core. For
me, the
