Once you've added the xorg-edgers PPA following the instructions on the PPA page, all you have to do is sudo apt-get update then sudo apt-get upgrade If the xorg-edgers PPA somehow messes things up (it really shouldn't), you can revert by installing the package ppa-purge and running sudo ppa- pu
