Should have added that I can boot only with options "quiet" and "splash"
off, and crash seems random.

I get these i915 GPU hung messages too with Lucid Beta 1 on a i845G card, but
not sure if it's the same bug.
The last time was a complete freeze which necessitated a hard shut down.
I don't know that much but am willing to help test if someone lists what
I need to do.
