I am actually running Debian. And the bug is more complicated than it
appears. Setting
options nvidia NVreg_EnableMSI=0
seems to help *sometimes*.
Once I get a better handle on the prob
I'm getting the same bug with the Dell P2715Q (basically the same
monitor but with a larger panel).
