Correction to the above: I just took a screen-shot and the cursor did appear in it. The driver, keeps reporting the following : -- dmesg | tail [190338.666860] [drm] nouveau :01:00.0: no space while hiding cursor [190338.720484] [drm] nouveau :01:00.0: no space while unhiding cursor
