Public bug reported:
UK Linux newbie has Shuttle SH55J2 with Intel i3-550, H55 chipset LG Flatron
L1710B. Installing Ubuntu 9.10 from magazine CD is fine, monitor is recognised
as 'LG Electronics 17' and display is crisp.
Upgrading to 10.04 appears to install without a hitch, but display
