Well, it almost helped. The system is now usable, but from time to time
the fonts (especially in firefox) get fuzzy. When I will be able to
capture I'll post the picture here.

does not help but kernel parameter
radeon.modeset=0
does help. So it looks l
Even after uninstalling flash the same happens. I'm able to trigger the
same with opera.

When upgraded to Lucid whenever I start firefox it causes problems with proper
screen refreshing and the following line starts popping up in dmesg:
[ 3949.521444] [drm:radeon_cs_ioctl] *ERROR* Failed to parse relocation -12!
Exiting firefox does not
