Console switching with Ctr+Alt+F? doesn't work, I have tried this many times. I have no screen saver active. I just ask for the screen to go blank when inactive. I don't know what REISUB is. Please explain and I'll test it. I run my desktop with Compiz effects set to normal. I will test with

After submitting the bug report I realized that the attached system files were collected while running the system with the 'fixed' version of my xorg config file (DPMS disabled). I attach a Xorg log file obtained while running the system with the standard xorg file (DPMS not disabled). **
