I have similar issue on Lenovo B50-70 with AMD/Intel graphics, Xubuntu. Switching to text console and back to Ctrl+Alt+F7 does restore cursor. I have also noted that 1. Disabling discrete AMD card in BIOS this issue still persists. 2. After waking from lock/suspend there is cursor in unlock scree
