nouveau remains blacklisted
Public bug reported:
After apt-get remove nvidia-* the file /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-
current_hybrid.conf remains and blocks the loading of the nouveau-
driver.
So, Ubuntu works great, with 3D Unity and nouveau. Then I installed the
nvidia-driver but didn't like all the consequences of that

I can't remember having this problem for a long time, so I think it's
fixed since Karmic, where I used again the two screen setup.

Hi Bryce
Because the dual-screen setup made also a few other problems i plugged the
second screen off for a while.
Recently I plugged it in again. I don't have enough time at the moment to test
development releases as I'm only at home at the weekend. I use up to date
Jaunty.
