Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-evdev
After today's update, X11 is crashing and locking up the machine. The
machine boots normally, gdm is being started, but once I move the
bluetooth connected mouse, the screen starts to flicker, and then the
machine locks up.

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-core
With today's update of xserver-xorg-core (and keyboard-configuration
console-setup), the right Alt-Gr modifier won't work anymore. I need
this key to type an at symbol. Pressing alt-gr and q on the keyboard
only results in a q instead
sudo apt-get install console-data
and selecting the proper keymap from full list worked wonders...
I didn't know that the console settings would also affect X11!

Same here: No compiz, but nvidia. I encountered the problem while
