Hi there! So, I'm having a hard time with the same bug as well. I've tried several linux versions with no success. Here's the list:
- Mint 10, 12, 13 (amd64); - Ubuntu 10.04 , 11.04, 11.10, 12.04 (x86 & amd64), 12.10; - Kubuntu 12.04 (x86 & amd64); - Lubuntu 12.04 (x86 & amd64) - this particular one crashes while loading systems files after a fresh install. It keeps logging me out randomly even with the open source drivers. Installing legacy drivers from AMD's doesn't help. Here's my desktop's specs: AMD Athlon II x4 3.0Ghz | 4GB-RAM | Sapphire ATi HD4830 512MB | 3 Maxtor HDD 40, 80 and 160GB. I thought it was the HD4830 causing this bug but reading this forum page it turns out to happens with some nVidia fellows. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/995294 Title: Session end (back to login screen) on apport unhandled exception To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/995294/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
