effects. I can reliably reproduce it by pressing Alt-Tab, for example.

Daniel: I updated my git repo and checked out version 10.1 (which is
what my install currently hast). I am still unable to repro the problem
from git checkout because the moment I start X with AccelMethod uxa,
the problem goes away.
Is there any better of testing this one library against an X

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
Synaptics touchpad on a brand new install of k/ubuntu does not work, not
even from a live disk. Tested on both KDE and GNOME variants and came to
the conclusion that it probably is a xserver-xorg-input-synaptics bug.

Hi,can someone please look into this issue? Ive also tried the latest
builds from the xorg edgers PPA with 3D support and the issue was still
present.So we probably need to talk to upstream about this.

Ok this is apparently more of a kcm touchpad issue,since when i removed
kcm touchpad the touchpad works like a charm

In lucid's latest builds the synaptic touchpad seems to be having alot
of soft lockups,ive been forced to use a external mouse due to this
issue and its very annoying,the touchpad locks up randomly and locks up
for 3-4 mins

2) Burn to USB and boot
3) Once in kde,just look at the system tray,the icons are all scrambled
4) Open quassel
