I'm not convinced this is invalid. The bug isn't against this package, but I just upgraded from Lucid to Maverick and was hit by the nvidia stuff being installed in the process of the upgrade. There's a bug somewhere in the upgrade process (at least when run from aptitude) that is causing the

right, I figured that out. However, the ati driver isn't well supported with this laptop it seems (for instance, whatever flash does to go full screen it's well supported, so if you full screen in hulu, it's choppy, but if you drag the pop out window so its full screen, it works fine), so
