I've discovered that I'm affected by this bug, but *only* when I've got
2 chrome windows open on different desktops (I've got a 2x2 grid of
desktops) on Ubuntu 16.10 - it wasn't doing this on Ubuntu 16.04.
@checoimg I agree it is better in the latest beta (version 49.0.2623.39
(Official Build) beta (64-bit)), but it still isn't fixed. It's
happening one time in three for me still.
Here's my test video (bump the quality before testing):

@penalvch I don't don't understand that procedure, so I'll just wait for
the release of Xenial.
If I find that upgrading to xenial doesn't fix it, I'll report back
here.

A backport to wily would be very helpful if it's possible.

You received this bug notificatio
@penalvch I've looked into it some some, and I can't seem to reproduce
it on a xenial iso at all.
It may also be worth noting that I have both intel integrated graphics
*and* an NVidia dedicated graphics chip (GE Force 550M). I'm not using
the default graphics driver that come with ubuntu,
I've looked into it some more (see issue #550091 in the chrome bug
tracker), it seems to be much more likely to happen with a 60fps video
than anything else. I'll have to try xenial again with this knowledge.

@penalvch If what is installed?
Now that I'm not so tired, I can give some extra information. I tried it
with a clean xenial daily build, in which I installed chrome and then
tested it. It was probably an unfair test though, as chrome was pretty
unusable due to some serious graphical glitches.
I don't know. Unfortunately I don't have anywhere that I can install it
in order to test it.

Everything hangs when coming out of
@penalvh Ok. I'm downloading the latest 64 bit ISO now. My connection is
rather slow though, so it could take a few hours to download. I'll
report back after testing it.

@penalvch In a clean boot from the 64 ISO you linked me to I can't seem
to replicate it. Perhaps this has something to do with my drivers? Or
maybe it was fixed? I have no idea how I would go about checking those
though.

Public bug reported:
If I have hardware acceleration enabled in my chrome settings (which it
is automatically), my entire desktop freezes 9 times out of 10 when I
come out of fullscreen mode. It doesn't matter whether it's with F11 or
a video on a site such as YouTube. Strangely enough, the audio
