I realize the last post was about three years ago, but I don't think this bug is a duplicate of bug #548709. After using xrandr --output DVI-I-2 --brightness 0.5 xrandr --output DVI-I-3 --brightness 0.5 Only the brightness of DVI-I-3 changes. No adapters, just two DVI-I cables. When I supend and wake, the brightness of the left monitor has changed as well. I use an NVidia GeForce GTX 285. I attached the output of 'lspci -vvnn', 'dmesg' and 'Xorg.0.log' and 'Xorg.0.log.old'. Hope it helps ** Attachment added: "logs.tar.gz" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/553757/+attachment/3545911/+files/logs.tar.gz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/553757 Title: dual monitors with different brightness To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/553757/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
