Binary package hint: xorg
I realize that tablets are all the rage right now, but I really feel
that X is being a little preemtive in unregistering all of my keyboards
for me. I tried to plug in a USB keyboard as well, with no luck. It
happens on the .31 and .32 kernels

Okay, I'm no longer sure that this is an X bug. I removed the mouseemu
package and everything works now.
