Here the system report without the ati driver loaded. You can ignore the
"successfully generated" messages as those were from a manual try to
generate packages with the driver from the amd website.

I can't attach the output of atigetsysteminfo.sh as i can't see anything
when the driver is enabled (also not in consoles ALT+F1 etc.) and when I
return to the normal system, I have no atigetsysteminfo.sh.

I disabled vsync in the opengl options in ccsm which helped a bit -
screen is less laggy, but still laggy. the glxgears still dont move
either.

also if I run glxgears it shows the gears moving only every few seconds
and they just jump, no smooth rotation.

like a smooth gaming experience and also that without that many effects
